Chesapeake Premier Cleaning is owned and operated by Erin and Rob Crickenberger, based in Harford County, Maryland. We started this business because we believed there was a gap between what most cleaning services offered and what clients actually needed — consistent people, safe products, and genuine accountability.

Erin Crickenberger — Co-Founder & Director of Operations
Erin manages the day-to-day operations of the business — scheduling, quality standards, client relationships, and team development. She's the reason our cleaning standards are as high as they are.
Before starting Chesapeake Premier Cleaning, Erin spent years developing systems for how things should be done — and done right. That instinct drives how we approach cleaning: methodically, completely, and with attention to the details that most people miss but everyone notices.
Erin is also the person clients talk to most often. If you have a question about your service, a request, or feedback after a visit, you're likely talking to Erin. That's by design — we believe accountability means the people running the business stay connected to what's happening in clients' homes.
Rob Crickenberger — Co-Founder
Rob handles the business infrastructure: technology, marketing, client systems, and the behind-the-scenes operations that keep everything running smoothly. He's also responsible for this website, which he built because we believe clients deserve clear information about what they're paying for.
Our Team
Our cleaning technicians are background-checked, trained to our standards, and treated like the professionals they are. We believe that happy, respected employees do better work — and that the best way to provide consistent quality to clients is to build a team that wants to stay and grow with us.
We don't use independent contractors or send whoever's available. We assign specific technicians to specific clients, so the same person learns your home, your preferences, and your standards.
What We Believe
Consistent service is better service. A cleaner who has been in your home ten times knows things about it that a stranger never could. They know which areas need extra attention, where the floor has a scratch you asked them to work around, that you prefer the bathroom products arranged a specific way. Consistency isn't just convenient — it's a quality driver.
Product safety is non-negotiable. We made a commitment before we started operating: every product we bring into a client's home would be EPA Safer Choice certified. This isn't a marketing claim — it's a line we don't cross. We chose this standard because we work in homes with children, pets, and people with sensitivities. We also live in the Chesapeake Bay watershed, and the products that go down drains in Harford County homes end up in the Bay.
Small businesses are better than large ones for this work. We can't beat a national franchise on brand recognition. We can beat them on personal accountability, consistency, and care. Our clients are our neighbors — if we do poor work, we answer for it directly. That accountability doesn't exist at scale.
Communication should be easy. When you call, you talk to someone who knows your account. When you have feedback, it goes directly to the people who can act on it. We don't have a call center.
